Joint IMA/AFWA Meeting

Topic: Cultivating A Bias-Free Workplace
Topic Description: Everyone is biased in some way. We have patterns of thinking that make it easier to process the deluge of information we are flooded with each day and these patterns lead to biases. But bias gets in the way of company and individual success, so we all need to uncover our personal biases and move to reduce them as much as possible. Research clearly shows a connection between increased diversity and profitability and value creation. This course explores and defines bias, stereotypes, patterns of bias, diversity, and inclusion, and covers both personal and corporate strategies for reducing bias and increasing diversity and inclusion. Begin your path to cultivating a bias-free workplace here.
Time: 6:00pm to 6:20pm Networking and 6:20pm-7:10pm CPE Presentation
Location: FREE Virtual Technical Meeting (1 hour CPE)
A link for signing up will be available on the IMA website: azvots.imanet.org/events/recentcommunityeventsdashboard
