Monthly Membership Meetings
Our chapter holds regular meetings each month. These meetings provide our members and guests an opportunity to network, enjoy dinner and earn valuable continuing professional education hours at a convenient east valley location for a reasonable cost. Monthly topics and speakers vary to provide our members and guests with the latest technical updates and critical professional skills. Our program calendar includes a mix of accounting, auditing, tax and professional development topics. Due to COVID, our monthly meetings are currently virtual events.

Empowering Today's Accountant Seminar
Our Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance Mesa East Valley Chapter along with the Institute of Management Accountants AZ Valley of the Sun Chapter hosts a day long seminar each year offering eight hours of continuing professional education hours and networking opportunities.

National and Regional Conferences
In addition to local events, our members benefit from regional and national conferences. Members and professionals from across the country come together to network, have fun and earn hours of quality continuing professional education. National board members also take advantage of these conferences to meet for their fall and spring board meetings as well as present the Annual Business Meeting to AFWA members. Chapters elect delegates to represent them at the Annual Business Meeting to vote on association issues and get the latest updates on the Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance and the Foundation of AFWA.
